MALVERN 55, CENTRAL CATHOLIC 49  Mitch Loomis scored 12 points and grabbed nine rebounds to help Malvern defeat Tuscarawas Central Catholic at home in an Inter-Valley Conference boys’ basketball contest Friday night.
 
Collen Thomas added 11 points for Malvern, who improved to 5-1 in the league and 5-2 overall. Jaret Majestic also scored 10 for the Hornets.
 
Mitch Herron had 13 points to lead Central Catholic (4-2, 3-2).
 
FAIRLESS 50, TUSKY VALLEY 49  Hunter Wells hit two free throws for Fairless with no time on the clock to give the Falcons a home          victory.
 
Fairless rallied from a        13-point fourth quarter deficit outscoring Tusky Valley 21-7 in the fourth quarter.
 
Austin Weyandt led Fairless with 22 points, while Wells finished with 11 points.
 
GARAWAY 52, SANDY VALLEY 36 Sam Gebhardt scored 19 points and had four assists and Dallas Foster tallied 12 points and grabbed     10 rebounds as Garaway topped Sandy Valley in IVC play.
 
The Pirates (3-4, 2-3) jumped out to a 15-0 lead after the opening quarter for the difference in the contest.
 
Nate shepler led Sandy Valley (2-4, 2-2) with 10 points and three assists, while Chad Neisel added nine points.
 
 RIDGEWOOD 43, STRASBURG 31  Ryan Lowe tallied 16 points as Ridgewood notched its first win of the season with an IVC win over visiting Strasburg.
 
Ridgewood took an 8-6 lead after the opening quarter and was on top 18-13 at the half.
 
MANCHESTER 64, INDIAN VALLEY 54  Mason Hayes scored 14 points and Pavin Parks and Aaron Hoxworth each added 11 as Manchester picked up a PAC-7 road win at Indian Valley.
 
Shawn Mills poured in      24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and Dalton Bolon added 14 points for the Braves.
 
SALEM 60, CARROLLTON 51 OT  Max Wolfgang scored a game-high 20 points for Salem as the Quakers earned a road victory in overtime.
 
O.J Pullie scored 14 points for the Quakers, while Mike Ciotti added 13 points.
 
Tyler Krantz led Carrollton in scoring with 18 points and Caleb Pasiuk scored 14 for the Warriors.
 
WEST HOLMES 63, CLEAR FORK 61  West Holmes improved to 7-3 on the season with an Ohio Cardinal Conference win over Clear Fork.
 
Brady Arnold led the way with 28 points.
 
ST. CLAIRSVILLE 46, HARRISON CENTRAL 36 Host St. Clairsville knocked off Harrison Central.
 
St. Clairsville led 9-8 after the opening quarter, but Harrison Central took an 18-17 lead at the intermission.
 
The Red Devils outscored the Huskies 11-3 to take a 28-21 lead into the final frame.
 
MEADOWBROOK 65, COSHOCTON 53 David Jirles scored 21 points, Isaiah Green added 16 points and Cameron Summers added      12 as host Meadowbrook stopped Coshocton in ECOL play.
 
Connor Roahrig led Coshcoton with 17 points, while Dylan Brown added 14 and Sam Magness chipped in 10.
 
The Colts are 4-3, 2-2, while the Redskins are 0-3 2-5.
