LOUISVILLE  They’re playing the same style of smash-mouth football they did a year ago. Using many of the same players. Playing against much the same schedule.

Despite Week 5 wins to stay unbeaten, McKinley and Marlington each dropped from No. 1 in their respective regions in the weekly Ohio High School Athletic Association football computer ratings. The Bulldogs (4-0) are rated No. 2 in Division I, Region 2, while the Dukes (5-0) are No. 2 in Division III, Region 11.

The undefeated Marlington Dukes jumped four spots to Division III’s No. 1 ranking in this week’s Associated Press High School Football State Poll.
