Opening Kick-Off, Part Two

Following Thursday night's three games, a full slate of 2015 season openers kicks off tonight. Here's some information to get you ready for the match-ups:

CARROLLTON  The Carrollton Warriors will head into the 2015 season with a workmanlike attitude.

“Our young men are punching the clock everyday,” Carrollton head coach Eric McCort said.

Football is back. And so is another season of FridayNightOhio.com coverage of varsity football. The new season kicks off with three games tonight:

• Perry Panthers will face backyard rivals Massillon Tigers at Paul Brown Tiger Stadium. Kick-off is 7:30 p.m.

MAGNOLIA  The opportunity to play one last high school football game is special, but for Carrollton’s Tyler Dodd, the 38th annual Times-Reporter Charity All-Star game will be a blessing.

Northwest has been searching for a new league to call home for four years. The Principals Athletic Conference is searching for members after seeing three depart in the last couple of weeks.

 

The list is down to 15 for the Stark County High School Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2015 and we’re looking for your input in determining who ultimately makes it.

 

Minerva senior running back Dalton Hartshorn was selected the Northeastern Buckeye Conference Player of the Year after leading Stark County in rushing this season.
