COLUMBUS  A big win by Massillon last week put the Tigers on top of their region, while Marlington remains on top of its region despite losing its first game of the year.

 

Here's what you need to know entering Week 9 of the high school football season:

COLUMBUS  The Ohio High School Athletic Association released its weekly football computer ratings today. The weekly computer ratings are released every Tuesday afternoon beginning after the fourth week of the season, leading up to the final report released Oct. 28. The top eight teams in each region will qualify for the regional quarterfinals.

Unbeaten Marlington and Garaway continue to lead their regions in the weekly Ohio High School Athletic Association computer ratings, which were released this afternoon.

COLUMBUS  Marlington and Garaway each moved up to No. 1 in their respective regions in the Ohio High School Athletic Association’s weekly football computer ratings, which were released today.

Despite Week 5 wins to stay unbeaten, McKinley and Marlington each dropped from No. 1 in their respective regions in the weekly Ohio High School Athletic Association football computer ratings. The Bulldogs (4-0) are rated No. 2 in Division I, Region 2, while the Dukes (5-0) are No. 2 in Division III, Region 11.
