Central Catholic's Tee Rupp and Hoover's Eric Sarbaugh will be playing college football close to home.
Rupp will continue his career at Walsh, while Sarbaugh has chosen to play at Mount Union. Both players made their announcements on Twitter.
Rupp was a hero for the Crusaders in their 16-13 victory over Coldwater in the 2016 Division V state championship game. His 55-yard touchdown reception with 58 seconds left gave Central the lead.
The 6-foot-2, 175-pound Rupp caught 40 passes for 702 and seven touchdowns last season. He also was a starting cornerback for the Crusaders.
Sarbaugh was a receiver, defensive back, kicker and punter at Hoover.
