Lake’s Seibel headed to Albany (N.Y.)

LAKE TWP.  Lake High School senior football player Dylan Seibel will sign a letter of intent Wednesday to accept an athletic scholarship from the University of Albany (N.Y.), an NCAA Division I-FCS school.

The 6-foot-5, 218-pound Seibel starred at tight end for the Blue Streaks this past season. He made 17 catches for 280 yards and two touchdowns. He also saw some time at linebacker, making three tackles for loss.

Seibel helped Lake reach the Division II state semifinals as a junior in 2010, making 10 catches for 128 yards and one TD.
