Game Recap
Donnie Bolton rushed for three touchdowns to help Berlin Center Western Reserve overcome an early 14-point deficit and defeat Malvern 29-20 in a Division VI regional semifinal.

Malvern jumped out to an early 14-0 lead when Shawn Ball scored on a 1-yard touchdown run and found receiver Clay Davis on a 15-yard TD pass.

Bolton responded after the half with the next two scores, rushing for touchdowns of 14 and 17 yards, respectively, to tie the game at 14-14.

Quarterback Jeff Clegg scored on a 6-yard touchdown run to give Western Reserve its first lead of the night at 21-14.

Ball drove Malvern back one final time and capped the drive with a 5-yard touchdown run, but the extra point was missed. Bolton then sealed the game for Western Reserve with just over a minute remaining by scoring his third touchdown of the night on a 12-yard run.

Bolton finished the night with 242 yards on 24 carries.

Ball went 17 of 29 for 207 yards passing and rushed for 103 yards for the Hornets.
