After watching some football over the first weekend, There are just a few things I don't quite understand.  It seems to me that blow outs are just too common in the first week.  Seems better scheduling would be nice.

I am not a reporter and have never claimed to be.  I am not tryiing to claim to know any inside information, but I have been told  that Stark County is not the favorite to keep the football championship games.  Columbus has made a strong push, and is considered the first choice by many.  There has even been some talk of splitting the games between Akron and Canton.  I

We're entering uncharted territory for football teams in the East Central Ohio League and Inter-Valley Conference in terms of playoff runs.

Each league has two teams in the regional finals this weekend, the first time that has happened since the playoffs were expanded to eight qualifiers per region back in 1999.

I like most of you enjoyed the last weekend's playoff games.    Just a few thoughts.  Tough game for LOUISVILLE to lose.  Seems like injury and fatigue caught up to them.    And a tough regular season schedule may wear you out as well.  My hat is off to the team and Coach Farrah and his staff.  For my money, the best staff and program in Stark
